Scope of this Policy

This Policy governs the practices of CRC webpages, including www.crcrealty.com, and individual employment, investment, multifamily, and retail webpages that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Sites”). This Policy is intended to cover visitors to the Sites, which may include users, tenants, residents, employees, candidates for employment, and contractors.

You may access the Sites from a number of different devices, such as a computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device; however, this Policy governs your use of the Sites regardless of the means of access. By using or accessing the Sites, you consent to the terms of this Policy. This Policy covers the collection and use of information from third-parties outside the Sites. This Policy is also incorporated into and made part of the Terms of Use and Accessibility policies. Your use of the Sites is subject to this Policy and the Terms of Use and Accessibility policies. This Policy does not apply to any personal information that is collected or processed via the Investor Login portal accessed through www.crcrealty.com that is operated by and through Juniper Square, Inc.

Social Media Services

The Sites may provide you with the ability to register, log on to, “like,” “share,” or otherwise interact with social media services, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, or YouTube. We do not control these social media services or your profiles on these services, and we do not establish privacy settings or rules for how your information on such services will be used.

If you choose to log on to or submit information through any of these social media services, your information will be subject to the applicable social media service’s privacy policy. You are encouraged to read such policy to learn more about how the social media service will handle your information. By accessing any social media service, you will be assuming the risk that the information you provide on that service may be viewed and/or used by us or third parties for any purpose. You agree that we are not responsible for any acts or omissions by these social media service providers.

Personal Information You Provide to Us

We may receive and store personal information that you provide to us voluntarily when you visit the Sites. For example, we may receive personal information from you when you register for an account or use the Sites’ online tools; subscribe to an electronic newsletter; send us a question or comment; post a photograph or video; respond to or apply to a job posting; or otherwise provide personal information directly to us.

Personal Information We Automatically Collect From You

We may automatically collect personal information about your interactions with the Sites and may aggregate this information with other information to customize your online experience with us. The personal information we automatically collect may include your IP address, referring URLs, browser and device characteristics, browsing behavior (e.g., date and time of visit, length of visit, clicks on product information or other content) and your response to our email campaigns (e.g., whether and when you open our email, the links you click).

The Sites use Google Analytics, which is provided by Google Inc., to analyze the usage of the Sites for internal purposes. It uses cookies to collect, for example, information about the operating system and the browser that you use, your IP address, your location information, the website you previously accessed (referrer URL) and the date and time of your visit to the Sites. Information Collected From Other Sources

We may also collect similar or additional personal information about you from other sources, including public databases and data aggregators. We may combine this information with other information we collect from you to customize and improve the relevancy of our online services to you.

How We Use and Share Your Personal Information

In accordance with our Policy, we may use your personal information for the non-exhaustive purposes set forth below:

to contact you regarding promotions and announcements, which may include communications concerning CRC dwellings or employment opportunities with us;

to provide you with support and respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses;

to send you relevant administration information regarding the Sites;

to obtain an assessment of your creditworthiness as part of an application for any lease;

to create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us, if applicable;

to conduct research and perform analysis in order to measure, maintain, protect, develop and improve the Sites, products, and services;

to help diagnose problems with our server;

to detect, investigate and prevent activities that may violate the law or our policies;

to respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order or governmental regulation;

to personalize your experiences on the Sites and to deliver content, product, and services relevant to your interests;

to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the Sites, products, services, databases, technology assets, and business;

to enforce our Terms of Use or Accessibility policies; and

to otherwise maintain and optimize the online services the Sites provide to you.

We may also share your personal information with service providers or contractors to perform functions on our behalf, such as, but not limited to, companies or individuals hired to: communicate news, deliver promotional or employment opportunity materials via e-mail and direct mail, to process credit card payments and to assist us with sending communications and performing other marketing and support functions. These third parties may use technologies to measure the effectiveness of ads and emails and use information about your visits to the Sites so that we may provide you with a better experience on our Site.

In certain circumstances, such as if you submit a rental application to us, we may also share your Personal Information with one or more third party vendors, so that they may prepare an assessment of your creditworthiness. Any assessment of your creditworthiness may be performed by one or more a third parties, not by CRC. Any third party’s use of your personal information to prepare an assessment of your creditworthiness is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. We have undertaken commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to the visitor data we retain. However, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or any information provided online, and you do so at your own risk. By using the Sites, you accept all risks associated with any data transmission, including the risk that your information may be intercepted in transit and agree that we will not be liable for disclosures of your information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Data Retention

CRC retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as necessary to assert or defend against legal claims or to meet other legal obligations. The Sites are not directed at children under age thirteen (13) and do not knowingly collect personal information online from persons in this age group. We reserve the right to delete any personal information identified as having been provided by children under age thirteen (13) at our discretion.
